Dear colleagues,
We are extremely pleased to announce that a little after 5pm this evening we tentatively agreed to all of the outstanding articles of our contract with the administration.
Tomorrow we will meet with the Council of Representatives. As quickly as we can we will provide information to you about the details of the tentative agreement and the process for union members voting on whether or not to ratify the tentative agreement. Our USW lawyers and staff and our bargaining committee will be working hard over the next few days to assemble that information to share with you. We will also schedule events for you to ask questions and learn about the contract.

In the meantime, thanks to everyone who supported this effort over the last two and a half years in so many ways. We could never have arrived here without the power that comes from your support and participation.
