We ratified our contract! Join us for a victory party May 14
Dear colleagues,
We are very pleased to report that our tentative agreement was ratified, with 98.3% of votes favoring ratification (and 88.4% of eligible voters casting ballots). That means that our contract will go into effect on May 15, 2024.
We’ll be in touch about next steps soon. In the meantime we’d like to invite you to a party at 5pm on Tuesday, May 14, at Golden Age Beer Company in Homestead (337 E. 8th Avenue), where we will come together to celebrate this historic moment for our faculty and for Pitt.
Family and dogs are welcome. Golden Age has a nice outdoor area. Please RSVP so that we can make sure we have enough food.
