BARGAINING UPDATE
April 26, 2024
Tentative agreement and ratification
Dear colleagues,
The Council of Representatives has approved the tentative agreement (TA) and is recommending it to the membership for ratification. We have set up a webpage with detailed information about the TA and the ratification process.
We will also hold information sessions by Zoom in the coming weeks, where we will present the TA and answer your questions. You can register for one of those sessions here:
Monday, April 29, 12–1:30pm
Thursday, May 2, 7–8:30pm
Tuesday, May 7, 4–5:30pm
The ratification vote will be conducted electronically from May 3 to May 10. You must sign a membership card by May 1 to be eligible to participate in this vote. In order for the tentative agreement to be ratified, a majority of valid ballots cast must favor ratification. Many more details are available at the website. We invite you to review those materials and to join us at an information session to learn more and inform your vote.
In solidarity,
Your bargaining committee
